- I'm interested in the manipulation of the public by the media. It fascinates me that news bulletins and newspapers etc control a public that never questions or researches for itself. People take the news as being fact and say amazing things like 'they're not allowed to lie to us.' For example what if ten news channels tell us a story then it must be true surely? If you do a tiny amount of research you may discover those 10 channels are owned by one company with an interesting agenda. Just a thought.

How about looking at a problem and then experimenting with solutions rather than looking at a solution and making up problems ???
It's just way too complex for what it delivers i.e. group meetings/messaging.
It's perfect for a few niche applications, e.g. architects using it to demo ideas, but it will never be mainstream. These worlds must have a game element to get more than 10 - 20 thousand active users. Warcraft has millions, but it's unique even among MMOs. If game MMOs have a though time taking off, what hope is there for serious virtual worlds ?
