3D Mouse ?

I tried the 3D mouse too at the event. It certainly was different to a spaceball. I use the 3D Connections spaceball in the YouTube clip along with a mouse for Rhino modelling. It's very effective... Continue

ZBrush 2 is Officially 'Mega'

I haven't used 'mega' since about 1992 but Z Brush is really that good. OK it doesn't animate but it does export for polygon manipulation in Maya. How it handles allows you to be totally create, not like in Maya or Alias where you know exactly what you want to do but can't find the hidden drop down to achieve it. Z Brush is purely creative too though - you can't be doing Class A surfacing with it. If you really know your stuff then you'll know there's no such thing anyway... But obviously Ali…

I added a blog post and it didn't appear

So here's a test. If I see this and it works fine after losing a long blog entry I'll have mixed emotions.

Wikipedia Spinners Exposed!

Caltech graduate student Virgil Griffith just launched an unofficial Wikipedia search tool. Enter the name of a corporation, organization or government entity and you get a list of IP addresses assigned to it. Then with one or two clicks, you can see all the anonymous edits made from those addresses anywhere in Wikipedia's pages. Yes that's right, this includes everyone that's edited the entry including Fox News, the CIA and some very interesting changes made by Apple employe…

Lewis Hamilton's £20million Video Game

Lewis Hamilton may not be the youngest driver to win a formula one race, but his victory in yesterday's Canadian grand prix will take its place among the most remarkable achievements in the history of the sport. As the first driver whose approach to the job comes close to matching the sophistication of his machine, he has single-handedly raised the stakes for his own generation and those to come.

And that DeLorean concept of 2005 is simply ******* awful. I could do better in 5 minutes. The actual drawing is sharp though - it's made a bad concept look better than it would be in the metal.

Twitter is over-hyped crap. You'll be on something new next week with an equally impressive name. I'm working on CD covers for that Aussie DJ and a big promoter's seen my stuff - he wants me to do the next official flyer series for the next big event! Pretty cool really. So now I've conquered Canberra and Sydney and without the aid of Twitter, Pownce and all that waste of time social notworking. How can people sit in Coventry in their offices and struggle to get work locally while I get work from the other side of the planet without leaving my house? Maybe I should run a course or something. Just seen a bit of Heroes - it's as bad as Torchwood and Dr Who. Thank god Lost's back.
