Incredible Sims Ltd is a start up company design to exploit the power of Serious Games. We want to use games engines to create simulations and virtual environments to help operators of large industrial plants train in the correct spatial context. However if that was the original aim, in the last two years we have done everything but do industrial simulations. So much for the business plan.
About Me:
Mechanical engineer by trade with plenty of hands on experience but that flowed into project planning, logistics and then into e-logistics. For two years I was the senior user defining the requirements for e-hubs and various other procurement and on-line services. I them moved to London and into financial planning and business case development for another two years as the hardest part of any project is getting the finance. The engineering is the easy bit! I am now a senior programme manager. I see huge potential in serious games and virtual worlds such as SL and Incredible Sims represents a vehicle to try and exploit this.
Favorite Games:
Strategy - I am a sucker for the Civ series.
As an old D&D player, I also dabble with the on line variants. Never as good as the old board variants though.
Favorite Sports Teams:
Rugby - and Bath of course
Favorite Music:
With about 6 stereo systems, the house is always at full volume. Very eclectic but to relax I listen to the Live Lounge series.

we have just developed a creative / inspirational age also www.gettyimages.com/moodstream
Other than that I am putting together a number of license models specifically for the games industry... reference, in-game, etc.
How do you source and use imagery yourselves?

Hi Guy
It is indeed a long way from Nottingham.... that's what you get when you marry a girl from New York...!!!
We are getting on very well with discussion in the games arena. We are looking to support all areas from core to casual to virtual worlds.
The key is getting as much input as I can from key people around the industry. We provide a number of developers & publishers with material for reference, in-game, packaging, advertisign etc. We also help out on photo assignments and PR.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for reaching out.
Rich
